MWC 2018: Xperia XZ Pro is to replace Premium 2

Sony Xperia XZ Pro

Sony is working on a new version of the high-end phone Xperia XZ Premium. However, the phone will probably undergo a name change. The smartphone should not be called Xperia XZ Premium 2 , but Xperia XZ Pro.

n terms of hardware, the phone will continue to be non plus ultra. It is spoken of that Sony wants to obstruct a Snapdragon 845 from Qualcomm. The RAM will be 6 or 8 GB of RAM. The internal memory is only 64 GB in size, but can be expanded with microSD cards. The capacity of the battery will be 3,420 mAh. The front camera shoots photos with 13 megapixels.

Xperia XZ Pro receives new design

The design should change a bit. So the display will occupy almost the entire front. Only below and above the screen in 18: 9 format and with 4K resolution you will find space for sensors. On the back sits an LED light and a dual camera that resolves with 18 and 12 megapixels.

Sony will be showcasing the Xperia XZ Pro at MWC 2018, the end of February in Barcelona. Then the company will also tell us how expensive it is and when it can be bought in the shops.
