Essential will no longer make phones, but it did make an accessory for your hearing aids

So or more ridiculous?

Essential will no longer make phones , but that did not stop the startup  from launching a somewhat weird accessory for your hearing aids.

At least it is magnetic:

Essential says that the accessory also adds an amplifier to the device (with ESS Saber DAC technology) for high impedance hearing aids. So at least it’s good for something.

Essential said that the accessory will be available in the summer, something that shows that the company plans to stay here longer despite having said that it will no longer manufacture its PH phone.

The company did not say how much the accessory will cost. The company has an agreement with the Tidal music streaming service to offer a free three-month subscription to the Tidal HiFi service in order to test the new accessory.
