WhatsApp will let only group administrators send messages

The subsidiary of Facebook adds more features so that users on WhatsApp have better experiences.

Now only group administrators can send messages to the other members of a group.

WhatsApp continues to expand the powers that the administrators of the group chats have.

This Tuesday the subsidiary of Facebook announced that with the latest update of the app now the administrators of these chats will be the only ones that will be able to send messages to the group. This skill will help the members of these chats receive the necessary information instead of losing important communication, whether school documents, work or other organizations, among the deluge of photos, videos or memes (such as the World ) that are usually share – sometimes without control – in groups.

If you are an administrator you can configure this function by opening Group information , clicking on Group settings , then choosing Send messages  and selecting Only administrators .

The new function for administrators is one of several that WhatsApp has recently added to the groups in WhatsApp. In May he added the description of the group, gave him more admin controls, will help users to catch up with the conversation and also a better way to search for participants.
