Galaxy Home: Samsung’s new smart speaker wants to compete with Google Home
The company has taken advantage of the presentation of its new Galaxy Note 9 to show its new smart speaker.
During the celebration of the Unpacked event in New York, the South Korean giant has announced together with its new flagship phone and the new Samsung Galaxy Home, which will be its bet in the market of smart speakers.
Galaxy Home will work with Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby, and will be the direct competition of Amazon Echo and Google Home .
The new device has a support in the form of a small tripod, which will allow us to pose on all types of surfaces such as tables, desks or the ground.

According to the characteristics described by Samsung during the event, we know that the speaker will have a built-in subwoofer and eight microphones.
