Honor Play arrives in Europe: another rival in the world of phones for gamers
The company takes advantage of the IFA 2018 in Berlin to also announce ‘surprises’ with its future Honor Magic 2.
Honor announced today in Berlin the launch of its new phone Honor Play in Europe, a phone clearly focused on the gaming sector and that was presented previously in China.
During a special event, Honor said that the Honor Play will officially go on sale on August 30. It is a cell phone that includes the Turbo GPU, the new tool of Honor that increases the power of graphics on their phones up to 60 percent while reducing consumption by 30 percent.
According to the company during the event, the new phone guarantees a continuous play autonomy of up to 4.6 hours.
Regarding the price with which it will reach the market, Honor has indicated that it will start from 329 euros for a single configuration of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The Honor Play will arrive in five colors: black, blue, pink that will cost 329 and two special versions, more daring, with red and black gaming serigraphy that will cost 349 euros.
The CEO of Honor, George Zhao, also took advantage of the special event to give some clues as to how his next flagship will be, the future Honor Magic 2. According to Zhao, the mobile will integrate Huawei’s future Kirin 980 processor and will feature a true fullview full screen. The design will be similar to the Oppo Find X, with the front camera hidden inside and a sliding system to remove it.
At the moment Honor has not offered more information about the other specifications of the Honor Magic 2 nor about its possible date of presentation, so we will be attentive to all the information that comes to us about it.
